Fundraising for the Haiti Hospital Appeal

haiti-hospital-appeal

Following the tragic earthquake that hit Haiti this year I have felt compelled to do something to help in some small way.

In March we held

“Share a day of Holistic therapies for Haiti”

Those attending could have mini treatments of Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology and take part in a prayer meditation for Haiti. We heard talks on Reiki, Homeopathy and natural products and held a raffle. In total raising £225... More info here

We have just held
“A day of Sacred Sound and Movement for Haiti”

budda

This time we braved the elements to do Chi Kung and yoga outdoors and experienced having our aches and pains “sung to” with Voice therapy. There were breads, cakes and cookies to buy and prayer ribbons to make and hang on the tree for Haiti and loved ones. In total raising £170

We have also received generous contributions of a further £360

So the grand total to go to the Haiti Hospital Appeal is

£755.00

I would like to give my complete and utter heartfelt thanks to everyone who gave of their time, expertise and money to make these days so enjoyable and such a success.

Thank
you

I couldn’t have done it without you! Pxx

I have chosen this charity because I loved their ethos “bringing hope to life” and that they are and always have been prepared to go the extra 100 miles for the Haiti people. The regular posts on their blog offer us the inside story from the volunteers who are there right now and what the reality is in Haiti, right now.
